Scouting in Trinidad and Tobago

The Scout Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) is the national Scouting organization of Trinidad and Tobago. SATT is a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.

The mission of SATT is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national, and international communities.

What is Scouting?

Scouting is a worldwide youth movement that promotes the development of young people in achieving their full potential. Scouting is based on the principles of:

  • Duty to God
  • Duty to others
  • Duty to self

Scouting activities are designed to help young people develop their physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual skills. Scouting is open to all young people, regardless of their background or abilities.

What are the benefits of Scouting?

Scouting offers a wide range of benefits for young people, including:

  • Opportunities to learn new skills, such as camping, hiking, and cooking

How can I join Scouting?

To join Scouting, you can contact your local Scout group or visit the SATT website. SATT has a number of Scout groups located throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

SATT offers a variety of Scouting programs for young people of all ages. The Cub Scout program is for young people aged 7 to 11. The Boy Scout program is for young people aged 11 to 18. The Venturer Scout program is for young people aged 15 to 25.
