Suzuki Has 20 Points in 24 Games with Thunderbirds
The Carolina Hurricanes have recalled forward Andrew Suzuki from the Springfield Thunderbirds, the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, it was announced today by Hurricanes Executive Vice President and General Manager Don Waddell.
Suzuki, 23, has skated in 24 games with the Thunderbirds this season, registering 20 points (10g, 10a). He leads the team in goals and ranks second in points.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pound native of Oakville, Ont., made his NHL debut with the Hurricanes on Jan. 14, 2022, and has appeared in four career NHL games, notching one assist.
