Simergy and Atari Team Up for 2002 Launch

Infogrames Europe SA and Atari have announced the upcoming release of Grand Prix 4, the highly anticipated Formula One racing simulator. Developed in collaboration with Geoff Crammond's development studio Simergy, Grand Prix 4 promises to push the boundaries of racing games with its cutting-edge graphics and realistic physics.

Atari Europe SASU will handle distribution of the game, which is scheduled for a Windows-only release in 2002. The game will feature a new graphics engine with anti-aliasing and an enhanced environment, as well as improved physics and AI.

Grand Prix 4 is the first game in the Grand Prix series since 1998's Grand Prix 3. The series has been renowned for its realism and attention to detail, and Grand Prix 4 is expected to continue this tradition.
